Race Car and food

The race car be red and bright. It be fast and strong, and it could go around the road with a loud sound. In the city, people do see it and smile. The man be a young man, and he be very glad. He have a plan for a special day. After the race, he would go to a food shop with the family and the friend. The morning be warm and clear. The man wake early, eat bread and drink coffee, and then go to the car. He check the engine, the wheel, and the seat. He touch the door and say, "All be ready." The brother be there too. The brother help carry a box with water, a bag, and a picture. The picture be not for a trip far away. It be for the road near the town and the food shop in the centre. The race be about fast and care. The road be long, and the turn be hard. The man do not want a mistake. He know the track well. He have race there before, and he remember the sign, the line, and the right way to turn. He feel a little fear, but he also feel happy. He say to the brother, "I will try the best." The brother say, "You be ready. Go and win." At the start, the car stand in a line. There be a blue car, a black car, and the red race car. The people around the track be loud and happy. Some have a radio. Some have a card with a number. Some have a picture of the car. The judge look at the car and then raise a hand. The sound of the engine be strong. Then the race begin. The red car move fast. It go straight, then turn, then go again. The man keep the eye on the road. He hear the wind and the wheel. He feel the heat of the sun and the hurry of the air. A white car be ahead for a short time, but the red car move forward. It pass one car, then another. The people shout, "Go! Go!" The man smile, but he still stay serious. He know the race be not over. Half way through, there be a sudden problem. A small stone be on the road. The red car hit it and shake. The man hold the wheel tight and keep quiet. He do not stop. He do not cry. He just drive on. The man think, "I must not lose now." He have a good car, a good plan, and a good heart. Soon the car be back on the right way. He see the finish line ahead. The final part of the race be hard. Another car be close behind. The man of the red car be tire, but he do not stop. He push the car more. The engine sound be loud, and the wheel turn fast. Then the red car cross the line first. The people shout again. The man be happy. He lift the hand and laugh. The brother run to he and say, "You do it!" The man say, "Yes, we do it!" After the race, the family and friend go to the food shop. The shop be near the street, with a bright sign and a clean window. Inside, the room be warm and full of good smell. There be chair, a table, and a small television in a corner. A woman at the table smile and say hello. She ask, "What do you want?" The man say, "Food, please. A large food with cheese, red sauce, and chicken. Also, bread and coffee for the people, and water for the child." The woman say, "Good choice. It will be ready soon." While they wait, the group talk about the race. The father say the car be great. The mother say the man be quiet and strong. The brother say the turn be fright, but the man be able to keep go. The child ask many question. "Why be the car so fast?" "How do you know the road?" "Did you feel afraid?" The man answer each question. He say the engine be good, the track be clear, and the team do work hard. He say he do feel fear, but he also feel hope and trust. Soon the food come. It be hot and fresh. The smell be lovely. The cheese be soft and the bread be thick and warm. The red sauce be sweet and good. Everybody take a piece. The child say, "This be delicious." The mother laugh and say, "Yes, it be perfect after a race." The man eat and rest. He feel the happy of the day. He have run a race, win a prize, and now eat food with the people he love. The shop be busy, but the group have a quiet corner. They look out the window and see the race car outside. It be still red and bright under the afternoon light. A boy near the door point and say, "That car win the race." A girl say, "I want to ride in it." The man hear them and smile. He say, "Maybe another day." The child laugh. The woman at the table bring more water and another piece of food. She say, "You be welcome here any time." The day be simple, but it be very good. The race be excite. The food be warm and taste. The family be together. The friend be together. The man think about the road, the people, the sound, and the food. He think about how a hard race and a good meal can make a day feel special. He say to the brother, "This be the best day." The brother agree. He say, "Yes, this be a great day." When the sun go down, the group leave the shop. The air be cool now, and the sky be a soft colour. The red race car wait by the road. The man put the hand on the door and look back at the food shop. He feel full, safe, and very happy. He start the engine one more time, and the car move away with a low sound. The family wave. The child wave too. The man say goodbye and drive home. At home, the man sit and think about the day. He remember the race, the car, the food, and the smile. He know that life can be fast, loud, and hard, but it can also be warm, kind, and full of fun. He be glad to have a good car and a good meal, but more than that, he be glad to have the family and friend. He close the eye and smile. Tomorrow would be another day, but today be a perfect day. The next morning, the man wake with a quiet heart. The race be over, but the memory be still bright. He go to the window and look out at the street. The road be quiet. A few people walk by, and a small bus pass in the distance. The city be awake, but the special day still feel near. He think about the red car and the sound of the engine. He think about the people and the finish line. He think about the food shop and the warm room inside. The brother come into the room with a smile. He say, "You be very good yesterday." The man laugh and say, "We be good." The brother agree. He say, "Yes, we be a good team." Then they sit at the table and eat breakfast. There be bread, coffee, and a little fruit. The man feel rest. He do not need to hurry. The race have been hard, but it have also been fun. He know that hard work and care could bring a great result. Later, the family visit again with more talk and more smile. The child draw a picture of the red car. The picture have a bright line, a big wheel, and a happy man. The mother put the picture on the wall. The father say it be a fine picture. The child say, "I want to see the car again." The man say, "You will." He be glad to share the day with them, because a good day be better when it be share. In the afternoon, the man and the brother walk back to the shop. They do not go for another race. They just want to say hello and thank the woman at the table. She be busy, but she still smile and say, "Hello again." The man say, "Thank you for the good meal." The woman say, "You be welcome. It be a pleasure to serve you." The brother say the food be the best. The woman laugh. She say many people say that, but she be still happy to hear it. The man look at the bright sign, the clean window, and the chair inside. He remember how the room have feel warm after the race. He remember the smell of cheese and red sauce. He remember the child ask question and the family talk together. He remember the happy of win, but also the happy of sit still and eat with people he love. He know that both part of the day be important. When evening come, the sky turn soft and grey. The man go home and sit with the family. They talk about the race one more time, and then they talk about other thing too. They talk about the week, the weather, and what they might do tomorrow. The man feel quiet. He do not need more than this: a safe home, a good family, a strong car, and a simple meal after a hard race. He smile and say, "Today be perfect." And everybody agree.
